New Cattlemarket Site - Powys County Council

Development:

The Proposal was for a new cattle market in Churchstoke, Powys, which would allow Auctioneers to meet all the new environmental standards regarding the handling of livestock in light of the 'Foot and Mouth' outbreak.

Role:

Alliance was instructed to project manage the Public Local Inquiry Appeal following the refusal of planning permission. The reasons for refusal included a number of technical issues, as well as on the grounds that the development was in an unsustainable location. Following exchanges of detailed arguments and information, it was agreed that a new planning application would be submitted and a planning permission was subsequently granted, avoiding the need for advancing the appeal any further.

Development:

The proposed modernisation and refurbishment of an important Grade II Listed Arts and Crafts building on New Bond Street in the heart of Mayfair to Grade A Specification Offices, with Diesel and Corneliani retail stores involved sensitive negotiation with the City Council and prospective tenants over alterations to the fabric of the building to achieve top quality business space and investment returns while ensuring the long term future of the heritage value.

Arden Fields, Warwickshire

Development:

Alliance Planning was instructed to seek planning permission for the redevelopment of buildings at Arden Fields, Warwickshire to create an Equestrian Centre specialising in dressage.  This involved lengthy negotiations with the local planning authority and County Council and planning permission was granted in 2006.
