Health Investment Planning Obligation Contributions

Development:

Alliance provided planning advice on the framing of proposed planning contributions requirements for the PCT to develop a contributions policy and negotiations for residential development as part of the Regional Growth Area to fund the development of healthcare provision as a key component of strategic growth. In the first of the detailed negotiations a commitment to a contribution approaching £˝ million from a residential proposal was secured on behalf of the PCT.

Project:

Bridgwater Hospital

Development:

Alliance undertook the promotion and negotiation of a planning application for a new community hospital in Bridgwater to meet growing healthcare requirements of the local community. The work resulted in permission for the new hospital which is being funded through the LIFT programme and is due for construction in 2008/9.
