ALLIANCE PLANNING RISE UP PLANNING SURVEY TABLE

01-12-2009

Alliance Planning has made significant strides in the last year and this is reinforced in the 2009 Planning Consultancy Survey, collated by Planning Magazine. They have jumped seven places to 32nd in the ‘Leading Employers of Chartered Town Planners’ Table, from a total of 141 companies polled.

In a year which has seen significant challenges for the planning and property industry across the board, Alliance has continued to grow nationally, marked by the opening of a new Glasgow Office in January 2009 (led by Paul Houghton) and recruited senior Directors in their London (Hayden Payne) and Birmingham (Keith Fenwick) Offices. Alliance also featured highly in a number of other 2009 national survey tables, including being recognised as a leading national consultancy in Minerals Planning and Mixed Use Brownfield development.

“Our team has seen continued organic growth through the last year and we’re hoping to build upon this success in the coming twelve months,” comments Gerald Sweeney, Alliance Planning Commercial Director. “We remain focused on enhancing our national profile and geographical offer throughout last year and were able to attract and recruit three highly respected Planning Directors. Our strategy of investing in experienced people and developing existing staff is to the betterment of our existing and future clients.”
