On Friday 13th... Alliance Planning Struck it Lucky!

Alliance Planning’s Birmingham office attended last week’s West Midlands RTPI Summer Ball for an evening of dinning and socialising, only to find themselves being called on stage to be awarded the regional Consultancy of the Year Award 2012. The award was presented by the RTPI President and award sponsor No. 5 Chambers.

RTPI West Midlands Chair Andrew Thompson said of Alliance’s achievement “This year nominations were received from national and regional consultancies and sole practitioners who should be congratulated on the delivery of high quality schemes and commitment to moving forward the profession and challenging others to do better. But there can be only one winner. Alliance Planning impressed the judges with their involvement in high profile regional schemes, in particular supporting regeneration, leading consultant teams and bringing together a wide range of expertise. Alliance have also taken forward many West Midlands planners on their initial steps in their career and it is the commitment to the profession that is also noted and highly commended”.

The team accepted the award from Colin Haylock (RTPI President), Andrew Thompson (RTPI West Midlands Chair) and Celina Colquhoun (No5 Chambers).
