Alliance Planning, the Guildford based national planning consultancy, has won a public inquiry for 11 flats on the site of a (vacant) pub called the College Arms in Woking
“This is an important win for Alliance’s client, the Palmhurst Group,” commented Andy Stallan, Alliance Planning Director. “It’s great to be able to give a new lease of life to this venerable pub, which was even mentioned in the War of the Worlds'!”
A further planning application for 13 flats on the site has now been submitted to Woking Borough Council to make best use of the site.
